With our Value Service, shares are usually sold within 2 business days of your ID and documents being verified, the trade settles 2 business days later, and the money is paid to your bank account the business day after settlement.

Peter founded KAZ in 1988 and grew it into a leading Asia Pacific IT services business, which listed on the ASX in 2000 and was acquired by Telstra in 2004. Today the Kazacos group’s businesses include law, conveyancing and property, all run from Sussex Street in Sydney.

I have been using this service for some time. As my husband's POA it is sadly necessary for me to periodically liquidate investments to cope with our altered situation now that he is in permanent dementia care. OneOff Trades has been very helpful in assisting me through the additional complication of POA documentation. They have made sure the process has gone as quickly and smoothly as possible. I'm more than pleased with their help.

Common questions

Can I sell shares without a broker?

Yes, if your shares are issuer sponsored. You do not need a broker or a full trading account. You complete an online form, verify your ID and One Off Trades sells the shares for you.

What is an SRN?

SRN stands for Shareholder Reference Number. It is the number on a holding statement from a share registry, usually starting with the letter I. It means your shares are issuer sponsored and not linked to a broker.

What if my number starts with X?

A HIN starting with X means your shares are broker sponsored. Ask the broker about selling, or call us about transferring the holding.

How much does it cost?

Nothing is charged upfront. Our service fee is deducted from the sale proceeds and charged per holding. The Value Service is 1.045% including GST (0.95% plus GST), with a minimum of $115.50 including GST ($105 plus GST). Same Day Service is 1.54% including GST (1.40% plus GST), with a minimum of $154 including GST ($140 plus GST). Same Day Settlement is 2.2% including GST (2% plus GST), with a minimum of $220 including GST ($200 plus GST). Same Day Service and Same Day Settlement are for ASX Top 300 shares only. Same Day Settlement is for individual and joint holdings only. For shares held by a company, trust, SMSF, deceased estate or international shareholder, or for low-liquidity trades, a surcharge of $50 or 0.5% (whichever is greater) plus GST applies.

How long until I get paid?

With our Value Service, shares are usually sold within 2 business days of your ID and documents being verified, the trade settles 2 business days later, and the money is paid to your bank account the business day after settlement.

What shares can I sell?

Shares listed on the ASX that are issuer sponsored. Up to four holdings can be sold in one application. One Off Trades is sell-only, so you cannot buy shares through it.

Can I sell if I live overseas?

Yes. International holders can sell ASX shares through us, and a surcharge applies to international shareholders. Call us on (02) 8999 0595 and we will explain the process.

What if my shares are worth less than the minimum fee?

If the shares do not exceed the cost of the sale, the sale cannot be completed.

How do I know One Off Trades is legitimate?
